Request Setup - Blackout Dates

The Blackout Dates page allows for the restriction in the entry of hours or requests on specific dates. 

 

 

Field Name

Description

Blackout Date

The date to restrict hours entry. 

 

NOTE – the restriction occurs for the entire day, not just a portion.

Reason for Blackout

Enter a description for the blackout. This description will appear in a message to the employee/supervisor when entering a request or hours record.

Pay Type Assignments

Select the pay types from the right side of the screen and select the ‘Add’ button for the pay types that should be restricted for the blackout date.

Org Levels

Home organization levels to apply the blackout. This option defines the employees that will have the blackout applied.
